What's your day job?
Kurt: Project manager at GM
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Kurt: Bikes! Love to get on a mountain bike, road bike, gravel bike, cargo bike, unicycle, cyclocross bike, fat bike, etc. etc. If I am not on a bike then I am hiking or camping. Love the outdoors. Big foodie too. Always looking for the newest restaurant in the metro detroit area. Hidden factoid: I play the bagpipes.

Kurt: Heavy IPA beer

Kurt: Kale chips
How long have you been doing CrossFit? How long have you been coming to Bolster?
Kurt: 6 years of CF (off and on) and 1 year at Bolster

Kurt: Power clean

What's the best part of being a member of Bolster?
Kurt: An amazing coaching staff. Kelli and Brad make it worthwhile to come to class everyday. They provide excellent insight into your workout and are happy to help out.
What's the one thing you are most proud of accomplishing since you started CrossFitting?
Kurt: Started crossfit in 2010. I was overweight and had high cholesterol in my early 20's. Crossfit changed that. Lost over 30 lbs and got into excellent shape. Last year, I began placing in mountain bike races and have CrossFit to owe for that. In the end, CrossFit has helped with my wellbeing and hard to imagine a perfect day without CrossFit.
